You MUST speak English only at CCBE.
ENGLISH-ONLY POLICY
Am I allowed to speak my native language when I am at school or on a school activity?
No! We know that speaking English all of the time will improve your English knowledge so that is why we enforce an English-only policy. Speaking English also gives students the opportunity to make friends with students from other countries. If someone hears a student speaking their native language, the student will first get a Verbal Warning, informing them that it is not permitted. If a student is caught speaking his or her native language a second time, they will be given a Written Warning, where they will have to explain why they were speaking their native tongue. A third Warning will result in the suspension of the student, where they will have to stay home from school for one day, including any school activities scheduled for that day.
