Important CCBE Policies

If you are unable to attend classes or will be late, you must phone the school before classes start.

• ESL Students who are absent or late more than 30% will not be able to move up to the next ESL level. They must repeat the same level. Students who miss more than 5 days in a diploma program will not receive a diploma.
• Students must be on time for classes. If you arrive more than 10 minutes late, you must wait until break time before you can enter the class. If you return late from the break, you should not enter the classroom because it disrupts instruction.

At CCBE, we believe that creating a safe, comfortable and friendly environment is essential for the learning process. We have high expectations of our teachers, staff and students. Everyone at CCBE must follow these rules:

• It is extremely important to show respect for all staff, instructors, and other students at all times. Please be sensitive towards the differences in cultures and customs.
  
• Respect other people's right to feel safe from threatening or aggressive behaviour.
  
• Unlawful conduct and the use of alcohol or illegal substances will not be tolerated at CCBE.
